Vintage Japanese Beaded Fabric Bag H756 Purse - vintage Japanese bag of silk fabric covered with seed and bugle beads.   The inside label shows that the bag was handmade in Hong Kong and then
shipped to Japan for sale.
This is a sugar plum of a vintage bag with an interesting pattern suggesting peacock feathers.
Cream colored silk with off white seed beads, white bugle beads, a few gold beads for contrast.
This bag is very well made and all of the beads are present and intact.   
The top edge has a rounded bar across made from mother of pearl.   That bar was missing when I bought the bag so my wonderful artist husband cut me a piece of faux pearl that fits nicely but
is flatter.  You won't even notice the difference.
Measures 9" in length, 6" high and 2" wide.   Lined in cream satin fabric with 1 small inside pocket.   The lining is clean but a little wrinkled.
The bag has a rounded beaded strap with a 6" drop.
