Vintage Japanese Cloth Hand Bag H1853 - Elegant Black Silk Purse
- vintage Japanese bag with woven fabric of unknown content but feels soft and smooth and I believe it is silk
The bag has a padded woven fabric. The exterior fabric is in good vintage condition. You may notice tiny lint specks because the camera is so sharp. Of course, those can be brushed aside.
There is a whitish smudge on the front near the center bottom. It is not as apparent as the photos makes it look (photos 1-3). The camera makes this brighter than it is.
The back is similar to the front. There is another white smudge near the center back but the one in the 5th photo has disappeared (photos 4-5)
The metal rims are dark and embossed in places.
Measures 9" in length, 5.5" high and 2" wide at the bottom. Lined in black satin fabric with 2 tiny pockets
The dark metal chain has a 6.5" drop and folds neatly inside on tiny hinges for a clutch style.
