Vintage Japanese Gold and Orange Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag Fan Pattern H1858 Purse
- light weight vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in gold and orange.   The fluid design has sweeping
curves to evoke flowing water.   The clasp at front is rectangular.
The outside fabric is very clean and intact.  The bottom front has a thicker thread in one spot but is not as apparent as photo 6.  The back of the bag a similar design.
Measures 8.5" in length at base, 5" high and 2" wide.   Lined in gold taffeta with 2 small inside pockets.  The corners of the lining have stains from aging glue.
Has a metal chain with a 6" drop.  The shiny gold chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
