Vintage Japanese Gold and Orange Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag Pattern H1861 Purse
- light weight vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in gold and orange.   The design is the Japanese Seigaiha pattern, a peaceful wave motif.
The clasp at front is decorated as are the rims.
The outside fabric is very clean and intact.  The bottom front has a thicker thread in one spot but is not as apparent as photo 6.  The back of the bag a similar design.
Measures 8.5" in length at base, 5" high and 2.25" wide.   Lined in gold taffeta with 2 small inside pockets.   There are a few super tiny marks on the lining.
Has a metal chain with a 6" drop.  The shiny gold chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
