Vintage Japanese Gold Brocade Silk Fabric Hand Bag H2261 Purse Clutch Top Handle
- slim vintage Japanese bag with silk metallic fabric. The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads which are soft gold ( or maybe silver) and darker gold. The front has a V shaped design made with a basket weave . The back has a similar design.
The exterior & interior fabrics are in very good vintage condition. The bottom corners has just a slight wear so you could trim off the tiny single thread that sticks out. The gold tone rims extend down the sides. The prettiest metal clasp is attached to the upper front and you pull on this to open the bag. The dark mark you see is only the reflection of my camera.
Measures 9" in length, 6" high and 1" wide. Lined in gold floral weave taffeta fabric with 2 tiny pockets and a tiny mirror Has a metal chain with a 5" drop which folds inside on small hinges for a clutch style.
