Vintage Japanese Gold & Gray Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag H2356 Purse - light weight vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric. The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature. The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads in gold and gray. The patterns are the ancient Buddhist symbol for peace in the gold colored areas and clouds with flowers in the gray. The metal rims are very pretty with decorative elements and the clasp is wonderful. The back of the bag has the woven threads in similar patterns. Measures 9.25" in length at base, 5.5" high and 2" wide. Lined in gold taffeta fabric with 2 small inside pockets. The lining has a pin dot on the very bottom and a tiny mark on one pocket and looks nicer than the photo! Has a metal chain with a 7" drop. The gold chain is on hinges which fold flat to hide the chain inside the bag for a clutch style.
