Vintage Japanese Kimono Blue Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY1185 -  kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Previously worn but exterior is in good condition 
Soft blue silk crepe jacket with a large Fatsia Japanica shrub pattern in pale blue, gold and bright pink colors.  
This jacket is probably from  the 1940's or 50's when the fashion was a longer, narrower body shape and hanging sleeves.    So it is truly vintage.   The upper right shoulder has dark streaks on the pink and blue leaves (photo 4).
There are a few tiny marks elsewhere that are not bothersome.
Lined in a soft red silk with minimal wear and the usual weaving blips.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 48" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 36" from back of neck and 38" including collar.  Chest area is 46".  Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24.5".   Fits near size 10-12 with a taller, straighter figure, not a curvy one!
This would be fun to put a zipper down the front and wear as a dress.
