Vintage Japanese Kimono - Purple Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY1320 - As Is - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior is in very good condition and the lining has water stains.

Soft purple silk crepe jacket with a bright blue & gold/pink chrysanthemum and bamboo leave pattern woven in.
The 6th photo shows part of the print with small white areas which are part of the design, not a flaw.
This jacket is probably from the 1940's or 50's when the fashion was a longer, narrower body shape and hanging sleeves. So it is truly vintage.

Lined in a hand painted silk with large flowers. The photos show where water has discolored the upper edges by the shoulders and the bottom of the sleeve.

Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 48" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 34.5" from back of neck and 36.5" including collar. Chest area is 46". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24.5". Fits near size 8-10-12 with a taller, straighter figure, not a curvy one!
