Vintage Japanese Kimono Scarf S6112 - Sample Bolt Super Soft Pattern Trio

- Very soft and fluid silk scarf sewn from a sample bolt with 3 distinct patterns. Salesmen use these bolts to market various prints while selling kimono. The silk has been stencil dyed. One end has a black base with bamboo leaves and the other has a gold landscape pattern with the royal cart wheel. The center has a lovely leaf pattern with changing colors and faux shibori dye fawn dots. In between are the bands separating the patterns and probably describing the choice.

Measures 70" x 6.5" wide. I cut this longer to keep the entire pattern block. Lovely to the touch

Note: I will be sewing 3 or 4 scarves from this bolt in other colors.
