Vintage Japanese Kimono - Shibori Dyed Silk Kimono Jacket - Haori- Kimono Jacket H2033 - shibori dyed silk kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition for its age. Soft silk jacket with shibori dyed areas (kanoko, for fawn dot) in a grid pattern The colors change from a lighter red to a darker, almost black in color, red on white. The exterior is fine with just a tiny bit of wear. The lining is a white silk jacquard with rising steam patterns filled with pretty flowers. Light colored silk can develop a patina from oxidation and this lining has turned yellow in places. The camera exaggerates the spotting. Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 50" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 29" from back of neck and 31" including collar. Chest area is 45". Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 24". Fits near size 12-14.
