Vintage Japanese Kimono - Silk Kimono Jacket- Haori- Kimono Jacket KY655
- kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan     Has been previously worn but the exterior is in very good vintage condition. 
Smooth black silk base has a crepe weave.   The decorative areas have Yuzen dyed royal cart wheels chrysanthemum and plum blossoms highlighted with gold metallic fabric paint.    The patterns adorn the left front panel, back of the right sleeve, and across the back.
Lined in a soft white silk with a hand painted peonies.  The lining has some pale, tea colored discolorations on the panels, most near the seams at the bottom edges.
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono.  Measures 49" from sleeve tip to tip.   Length is 30" from back of neck and 32" including collar.  Chest area is 46".  Haori jackets do not wrap and are worn open.  Hip area across the back is 24".   Fits near size 10-12.
