Vintage Japanese Haori H2045 - kimono jacket hand-stitched by kimono makers in Japan Previously worn but exterior and interior are in very good condition.
This jacket shows virtually no wear and is a spectacular shibori dyed textile.
Soft white silk jacquard treated with the shibori tie dye method to resist areas which form areas of fawn dot shibori (kanoko) and larger leaf shaped areas. These sections are raised and softly nubby.
The lower edge has an interesting border area with more intense tie dye.
Lined in a soft ivory silk with a light pink mountain pattern
Features the traditional hanging sleeve of a kimono. Measures 52" from sleeve tip to tip. Length is 28" from back of neck and 30" including collar. Chest area is 48".
Haori jackets do not wrap, are worn open. Hip area across the back is 25". Fits near size 10-12.
