Vintage Japanese Orange Silk Brocade Fabric Hand Bag H1951 Purse
- vintage Japanese bag with silk and metallic threads fabric.    The threads are shiny, making it dressy in nature.
The fabric has a glow from the metallic threads which are orange and 3 shades of gold.   There is a woven pattern of kikko, or tortoise shell, across the front.  Also present are stream and chrysanthemum.   The back has orange and gold diamond  shapes.
The exterior fabric is in excellent vintage condition.   The lining has small stains in the upper back corner.
Measures 7" in length, 6.5" high and 1.75" wide.   Lined in pale gold taffeta fabric with 3 tiny pockets.
Has a self fabric handle with a 5" drop.  The handle leans to one side.
