Vintage Silk Shibori Scarf - Japanese Kimono Obiage, Bluebird Blue, Melon, Gold H2376
This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi 
I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf!   This one is light weight and glossy with gorgeous shibori dyed sections in three wonderful colors.
The middle photos show the complexity of the shibori dye process.
In addition, the silk has a diagonal floral jacquard weave in places.
The one edge has just a tiny bit of color change (last photo).
The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked.
Measures 55" x 12" wide (at full width), shorter than many scarves here
