Vintage Silk Shibori Scarf - Japanese Kimono Obiage, Hot Coral H2143 This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This one is light weight with shibori dyed cloud patterns on hot coral silk jacquard with a geometric pattern. The color is closest to the last 2 photos. The middle photos show the complexity of the shibori dye process. The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked. Measures just 54" x 12" wide (at full width), a lot shorter than many scarves here
