Vintage Silk Shibori Scarf - Japanese Kimono Obiage, Lime Green H2105
This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi
I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This one is light weight with shibori dyed helix and floral patterns on lime green silk jacquard with a traditional harmonic pattern.
The middle photos show the complexity of the shibori dye process.
The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked.
Measures just 52" x 11.5" wide (at full width), a lot shorter than many scarves here
