Vintage Slate Blue Spool & Gourd Patterned Silk Scarf: Japanese Kimono Obiage H2286 This is a traditional scarf called obiage which is worn under a Japanese obi I found that it makes a fantastic neck scarf! This one is a summer weight silk with a distinct jacquard weave of thread spools & gourds accented with purple dotted fabric paint. The edges of obiage are not sewn under, they are merely pinked.
